Cork Family Business, Pat McDonnell Paints has won the first annual Choose Radio competition and will receive €100,000 worth of radio advertising. Jointly developed by the RTÉ Radio and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, the Choose Radio campaign was broadcast on 36 radio stations across Ireland for the month of June. Pat McDonnell Paints were selected from hundreds of entrants and will receive €100,000 worth of advertising on national, regional and local radio across Ireland. Lisa Ní Choisdealbha, Executive Director of the Independent Broadcaster of Ireland said, “The Choose Radio campaign highlight’s the benefits of radio advertising to businesses throughout Ireland. 85% of adults over the age of 15 listen to radio on the average weekday, so it’s a great way of telling lots of potential customers about your business.
